2. Products & Materials
Q1: What main categories of mould steel do we supply?
A: We cover a full range of tool steel grades:
Hot Work Tool Steel:
1.2367/X38CrMoV5-3
1.2714/5CrNiMo
D3/1.2080/SKD1
A2/1.2363/SKD12
O1/1.2510/SKS3
O2/1.2842
D6/1.2436
Plastic Mold Steel:

P20+S / 1.2312,
High speed Steel:
M2 / 1.3343 / SKH9/SKH51,
M3 / 1.3344 / SKH52,
M35,
M42 / 1.3247 / SKH59
Q2: Do you offer customized sizes or processing services?
A: Yes. With our in-house forging, rolling and processing capabilities, we can provide value-added processing services such as custom-sized blanking, cutting, milling and grinding according to customer-provided drawings and dimensional requirements.
Q3: What standards do your products comply with?
A: Our products conform to GB/T 1299-2014 (Chinese national standard for alloy tool steels). Hot work steels also meet NADCA #207-2018 (North American Die Casting Association standard). Non-metallic inclusion testing follows GB/T 10561-2005.
Q4: What is the difference between H13, 1.2344 and SKD61?
A: They are equivalent hot work tool steel grades under different standard systems: H13 (AISI/US), 1.2344 (DIN/Germany), SKD61 (JIS/Japan). They share similar chemical composition and high-temperature performance, and are widely used for aluminum die casting dies and hot forging tooling.
3. Quality Control & Inspection
Q1: How do you ensure product quality?
A: We implement full-process quality control. Each batch undergoes routine inspection including chemical composition analysis, macro-structure testing (center porosity, segregation), metallographic examination (non-metallic inclusions, carbide distribution) and Brinell hardness testing.
Q2: Can you provide material test reports (MTR)?
A: Yes. Official inspection reports are available for each batch, detailing chemical composition, hardness, metallographic structure, inclusion rating and final qualification conclusion, with clear testing standards and basis.
Q3: What is the typical metallographic structure of your supplied steel?
A: Our annealed mould steel features a spheroidized pearlite + carbide matrix with uniformly distributed eutectic carbides. For example, our H13 steel complies with NADCA #207-2018 microstructure requirements, with low segregation and excellent machinability.
4. Order & Payment
Q1: What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
A: For standard stock sizes, we support flexible order quantities to fit different purchasing scales. For customized processing, the MOQ depends on specific specifications and processing requirements.
Q2: What payment terms do you accept for export orders?
A: We mainly accept T/T (Telegraphic Transfer) and irrevocable L/C at sight for international orders. For long-term cooperative customers, more flexible terms can be discussed.
Q3: How can I get an accurate quotation?
A: Please send us your required steel grade, dimensions (thickness/width/length), quantity and processing requirements via email or WhatsApp. Our sales team will reply with a detailed quotation within 24 working hours.
Q4: Can I order multiple steel grades in one shipment?
A: Yes. We fully support mixed orders of different grades and specifications, which helps customers centralize procurement and reduce overall logistics costs.
5. Delivery & Logistics
Q1: What is your typical delivery lead time?
A: For in-stock standard products, shipment can be arranged within 3–7 working days after payment confirmation. For customized processing or large-volume orders, the exact lead time will be confirmed based on order details.
Q2: Do you keep stock for mainstream steel grades?
A: Yes. We maintain 4,000 tons of regular stock covering H13, Cr12MoV, DC53, 1.2344 and other hot-selling grades, enabling fast response to urgent delivery demands.
Q3: What shipping terms and methods do you support?
A: We support FOB, CIF, DDP and other common trade terms. Shipping options include sea freight (FCL & LCL), air freight and international express for small-batch orders.
Q4: How do you pack the steel for export?
A: We adopt standard export packaging with waterproof and rust-proof treatment. Steel plates and bars are fixed on wooden pallets or steel frames according to size, ensuring safe long-distance transportation.
